How long does a pod last Click and Grow?
The pods can be stored for about one year when kept in dark and dry conditions and at a normal room temperature (up to 26 °C / 78 °F) - this also applies for packs that have already been opened.
Can I use Click and Grow without pods?
Just add your own seeds! This is perfect if you have something specific you'd like to grow and Click & Grow doesn't offer a pod for it.
Can you use AeroGarden pods in Click and Grow?

Do all pods fit all machines?
Different brands produce different types of coffee pod/ coffee capsules that are not compatible with all types of coffee machines. This can get a little confusing. If you don't know whether the coffee machine that you have is compatible with your coffee pod, stress no more.
Can I use my own seeds in click and grow?
Can you use your own seeds and soil? Yes, but… I have tried growing a few things with both the available fertilized pods and my own soil and seeds had mixed success; I do find Click and Grow's pods work best of all. And honestly it's much less messy.
How many times should you refill a pod?
Most refillable pods last 3-5 days, although that approximation depends on how often you vape. An important aspect is knowing the signs of needing to refill your pod. Two warning signs that you need to change your pod is a reduction in flavor and a reduction in vapor emitted from your pod.
Does click and grow use a lot of electricity?
According to Click & Grow, the built-in LED requires just 6 watts of energy. With it running for 16 hours per day, the Smart Herb Garden should add roughly $4 to $5 per year to your electricity bill. That isn't much, but the unit isn't exactly cheap to begin with.
Is the AeroGarden better than the click and grow?
AeroGardens use about 2-3x more power than Click & Grow gardens, but they include brighter plant lights and an internal water pump. Prices for refill plant pod packages are similar, with Click & Grow pods tending to be cheaper at the regular price while AeroGarden pods are more often on sale for a discount.
Can I plant anything on Click and grow?
While there is a huge variety of herbs available in the Click & Grow pods, you can also grow pretty much any seed variety when you use the Experimental Grow anything pods. I love the flexibility these pods offer since I like to experiment with different herb varieties and try out new flavors.
Can I use regular soil in click and grow?
The answer is yes, you could. Gardening is all about experimenting. Bear in mind, though, that using other types of soil may not lead to the best results!
When should I plug in my click and grow?
Try to make the lamp mimic the natural day cycle: just plug it in in the morning so the light would be on during the day and it will automatically shut off in the night time once the 16 hours is done. It is important for the plants to enjoy some rest in the dark - they need sleep just as we do.
Why do AeroGarden pods get moldy?
Sometimes, in hydroponic gardens, mold and algae can grow on top of your plant pods. A small amount of algae and mold can occur naturally because we do not use any fungicides or sterilizing agents in our plant pods or seeds.
What can I use instead of AeroGarden pods?
MaxiGro and MaxiBloom are good AeroGarden nutrient alternatives. They aren't as convenient as the AeroGarden nutrients, but if you're on a budget, these are the nutrients I recommend. Use MaxiGro for greens and MaxiBloom for fruiting plants such as tomatoes and peppers.
What you do if mold grows on one of your AeroGarden pods?
Scrape off the mold with your fingertip or wipe with a Q-tip. Careful to not harm the tender sprouts. If the seed sponge is less than 1/2 inch below the label, push it down inside the grow basket to expose pod to more air, which usually kills it.
Are pod machines worth it?
While some coffee purists may be sceptical of pod machines, grinding one's own coffee beans is definitely not for everyone. In our humble opinion, they're an effortless way to make coffee and the initial expense is well worth the convenience and the money you will save per cup in the long term.
Does every pod need a service?
